We just moved to our new beach location as La Tapa Plage in the Wharfside Hotel Village in March of 2022, still featuring the same interesting ever changing menu including fresh local seafood, organic greens & herbs form Coral Bay, flavors with a touch of Spain & France (Basque Country), Germany and Caribbean. La Tapa is the perfect place for a lovely meal. The ambience is amazing with open air toward the bay, lovely wooden tables with differing and eclectic chairs and settings. It is elegant yet comfortable. The food was some of the best we've had and rivals the best meals in Italy and Hawaii. Our server was delightful and knew the wines and menu well. We had the best (not fried) calamari appetizer we've had, an amazing salad, a fish meal and a pasta seafood meal; all with powerful flavors that blended well. It was an amazing evening!
