- GGailvipColumbus •12 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 26, 2024A wonderful dining experience! Waiter was the right level of attentiveness. Chef made a personal visit to our table to check on presentation, taste of dinner entrees. Filet cooked to perfection, best pork chop the husband has ever tasted. Cocktails from bar are shear perfection. Banana pudding dessert to die for. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and can’t wait to return the next time we are in town.More infoThe Urban Stillhouse - SomersetPrice: Expensive• American• Somerset•4.9
- AAndreavipDenver / Colorado •59 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 26, 2024What a find! Very elegant ambience with stellar service by Jarred and the students from Berea College. Small but very well thought out menu of classics. The onion soup had a depth of flavor that showed it had been prepared low and slow, covered in poet gooey cheese goodness! The class were generously sized and the mint honey champagne vinaigrette was delightfully rich and herbaceous. The chicken flakes were an old-timely dish of finely shredded chicken in a thick veloute over a bed of creamy mashed potato served with crisp green beans and a tangy orange cranberry relish. The diver scallops were served with a nest of seasonal veggies, mostly summer squash and zucchini with carrots and peppers, perfectly seared. The cocktail list was interesting and there was an extensive list of Kentucky bourbons to chose from. A couple next to us had the blackberry smash and pronounced it refreshing and bright. We had one of the many cakes for dessert, a yellow cake with a buttery sauce dazzled with white chocolate. The chef did not balk at my allergy needs and honored the requests. The combo of the vintage inn and the vintage food was perfect and very enjoyable. Strong recommendation to make reservations and have dinner in this lovely throwbackMore infoBoone TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Berea•4.3

Not what we expected, but may be the best fried shrimp we've ever had. And we've eaten a lot of it and at several different coasts. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient.More infoThe Depot on MainPrice: Expensive• American• Corbin•4.4

At White Castle having reservations, being seated, having someone come to your table to take your order and then deliver it was corny but a whole lit of fun. Can't wait for next year and do it again.More infoWhite Castle - LondonPrice: Moderate• American• London•4.7
