Paul Friedman is a Master Chef with over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry,having owned and operated over 50 successful restaurant concepts in South Africa, Germany, and the U.S. Paul began his career as a manager and worked his way up to franchise owner, then Director of Operations.He opened Paul's Pizza Shops - a nationally recognized pizza concept in Northwest Houston, Texas in 1994. Paul later developed a new concept, becoming the Executive Chef, CEO and partner at Peli Peli - a nationally recognized South African Fusion Restaurant which opened in 2009 in Houston, Texas. Having retired from Pelipeli in 2018 he has returned to his original location at Vintage Park with his latest concept The Chefs Table.Chef Friedman says this is by far my best creation yet and I hope to leave a legacy here for my children and grandchildren to be proud of.

Enjoyed a birthday dinner with my family. Food was very good. There was 5 in our party. Had a nice round table which makes it easy to talk. Service was good attentive but not overbearing. They don’t come ask you if you’re ok every two minutes like some places do. I live in the neighborhood and love having this beautiful restaurant in the area.

Went to enjoy restaurant week menu. I ordered the Chilean sea bass. Have had it before and know it’s normally delicious. My plate came out last and the fish was very undercooked to the point of slimy. I had to send it back. We had asked for more bread for the meal but never received. Everyone in the party enjoyed their food but service was on the slow side and it was not busy. Purposely made reservation for 5pm so it would not be so busy. Really enjoyed when they had more Italian dishes. For a steak restaurant prefer Dario’s.
