Restaurants near Cushing Memorial State Park

Servers were polite but a bit inexperienced What bugged us is they kept wanting to clear plates that had food still on them They didn’t just ask once it was a bit too much Otherwise service was very good One of us had the Walleye and loved it, one had the ribeye and really liked it, I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes The breading was to my favorite, good but not the classic crispness and a bit too much herbs Dark meat was good, the white meat was dry Mashed potatoes had good flavor but were just warm, for me they shud have been hotter when they came out

Wish birthday would’ve been acknowledged with a candle in dessert. Excellent outside of that - beautiful setting on terrace with view of lake, terrific service.
