Great service/ hospitality and the sea food was amazing

First time in Anchorage and we found this place on Open Table. We had an excellent server - very friendly & knowledgeable of the menu. We enjoyed the halibut bites as an appetizer and then both had the soup - clam chowder. We found the soup to be a bit peppery and thick but it was good. We then shared the crepe cake and thought it was a bit too sweet.

While our server Brandi was outstanding, one of the reasons I decided to have a meeting at Kinley's was because I needed to speak to them about using their event space. When I asked about it upon entry, I was made to feel like a bother. The hostess said I needed to do it online. (I have booked events for years and this is a first.) I'd called multiple times, leaving messages - and they were never acknowledged or returned. After I was seated, I asked the server if I could speak to someone to at least find out if the date was available. A gentleman came to the table, and kept pushing me to check online, saying they have nothing to do with the bookings. (The space is literally in your restaurant. How would anyone know?? He did at least let me know the date was taken.) Blows my mind that people treat you like a bother when you are simply trying to give them business.

I love great hospitality when I see it. Not only are the food and drinks so unique and delicious, the service also never disappoints!!
