Restaurants near Connecticut Audubon Birdcraft Museum

I thoroughly enjoyed my first dinner at Blackstones Grille. It's an old school steakhouse with plenty of knowledgeable servers, dark wood furnishings, subdued lighting, sizable portions and proper drinks. I was 20 minutes early for my reservation and was seated immediately. I began with a crock of french onion soup. From my entrée, I had a butterflied 10 oz filet mignon. It was grilled perfectly and so very tender. You easily could have shared my serving of sautéed spinach. It was all delicious! Before my meal arrived, I was given a service of fresh-baked bread and a garnish of different types of olives with onions in a vinaigrette. I plan to return sooner rather than later.

Great food, nice people great atmosphere and surroundings

Our first visit to this location. The food was good but somewhat average. Same as their a Ridgefield location. Staff was great. Very nice greeting and kind words from the hostess. Our server was great and the teamwork was excellent. Prices are not inexpensive for the quality but they do a nice job. Recommended
