Pizza is a family affair for me. My Uncle arrived in America in the 1930s with a passion for pizza. He worked hard and eventually bought his own pizzeria in Brooklyn. It was there that Uncle invented a recipe for coal oven pizza. That recipe has been perfected over 60 years and passed down through the generations. Here in Philadelphia you can dine at 2 Pietro's locations: 1714 Walnut Street, and Radnor, Pa. I hope that you enjoy our classic style pizzas and pasta specialties "alla familia" for many years to come. Buon appetito

The staff was excellent. The service was top shelf and they were friendly and patient. The food was excellent. The ambiance was great as well. The only thing I would change is the size of their two-top tables. They are sooo small! But all in all, a great experience.

Excellent menu! The cheese board was one of the best I’ve had- the pairings were excellent. The mains were also very good- a very fresh bronzino with Mediterranean flavors, and rigatoni short rib was also excellent for n terms of flavor and textures. We finished with flourless chocolate cake, which was made better by the accompanying sorbet. The pacing of the meal was decent, though on the quicker side, but not rushed. I only wish they had more than one mocktail offering, but at least there was one!

We came here for lunch on May 20 to celebrate our son's graduation from Penn (party of 9, including all four grandparents). We had an excellent experience. The waitress recommended a lovely bottle of wine. She was very friendly (even taking a group photo of us). The food was excellent. Indeed, some of the best thin-crust pizza I've had. And the pasta fagioli soup was the best! My son loved the Fra Diavolo! Lunch at Pietro's was the capstone to an incredible graduation experience. Thank you.
