great place and great staff. Good interaction with cooking staff while cooking and lots of advice if needed on best selections.

We often drive past and say we must give it a try and when our visit to Royal Ascot was cancelled it was ideal opportunity to do so. Staff were welcoming and showed us to our table. We shared our starter of bread and olives with mini choriza which was perfect for us. Our main courses were well presented and ample portions of quality food. We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience of The Red Lion and will definitely be visiting again.

My wife booked me a surprise fathers day breakfast. The order was taken quickly with really attentive staff. When I requested that I didn't want black pudding with my breakfast I was given the option to swap from something else on the menu. We had our two year old sun with us, and when we asked for toast and Marmite for him (which wasn't on the menu), the staff went out of their way to provide this. Really positive experience and thank you for making our trip enjoyable.

As usual Bills service and food top notch . The restaurant was very busy and our waiting staff were working very hard to keep on top of everything. My only negative comment is that the toilets at the restaurant are in need of updating - they are still serviceable (just) but considering how well maintain the rest of establishment is they really could do with a spruce up and replace well worn furnishings and taps.

The place was magnificent perfect for Valentines Night. Dome was nice and cozy it was magical experience. Outstanding service. But food wasn’t so great I had expected better quality and taste. Some of the my husband chicken was burned there were out of steaks bit disappointing. The food is the most important at the restaurant. We aren’t going back there.
