Really a lovely experience but service did get a bit slow toward the end, however, we were there for a while and it was a Tuesday so I don't blame them. Had a great time otherwise.

Super tasty food, super nice service -ergo a nice evening. We had a table that allowed me to look into the kitchen: quiet atmosphere, the people who worked there attached great importance to hygiene. I was able to observe that. Every move was perfect and it seemed very confident. A nice working atmosphere. That's not the case everywhere.

I would 100% recommend The Hampshire House to anyone looking for a special place for dinner or brunch. Our food was perfect, menu was limited for easter, but I see that as a good thing - specific items chosen for the day. Ambiance was fantastic, and it's really the main reason we go there....beautiful classic building with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the park....has the feel of being in the home of a wealthy 17th century boston family's library....Service was also impecable, when it seems so many other places it has gone downhill in the past few years. Attentive without being intrusive; friendly and genuine. We have been several times over the years, and always leave wondering why we don't come more often, it has never disappointed us.
