Nebo Lodge is a small inn and restaurant on the unbridged island of North Haven, Maine. Dining at Nebo Lodge requires a boat ride to reach North Haven. The Maine State Ferry does not accommodate dinner reservations as the last ferry departs North Haven at 3:45pm. Nebo offers a private dinner cruise to reach the island most Fridays and Saturdays; tickets can be purchased here: http://www.nebolodge.com/round-trip-dinner-cruise. The purchased tickets guarantees you a reservation here for that night at 5:00.     We dined at Natalie’s for our annual anniversary dinner, and this time brought our 13 year old who has a number of life-threatening food allergies. Not only did the chef/kitchen accommodate with alterations to a variety of a la carte menu items, but also with several safe amuse-bouche items. All three of us enjoyed an amazing meal thoughtfully and deliciously prepared. Additionally, all staff members were friendly, kind, and attentive. In short, we had an excellent experience!

    My wife and I went to Nebo for an anniversary dinner. The food and ambience were superb but service was very slow - 30 minutes between our salad and entrees of steak and of salmon. The wait would have been less annoying if the server had checked in since groups at nearby tables who came in after we did got the entrees much sooner.
