Restaurants near Carmel Valley Golf Club

I tried a drink off their specialty menu, it ended up being something I just could not get my tastebuds around. They were super nice and took it off my bill, and I explained it’s not them it’s me haha. They made sure to check in with us about everything else after that, but truly that was the only hiccup.

Delicious food, extraordinary cocktails and cool atmosphere! The lamb lollypops were to die for! We will be back!

Although we had a reservation, it took three repetitions of our name for the hostess to find us. Not a positive start. Our server quickly made up for that (almost). She was competent, got our orders quickly and delivered them promptly. The food was also served timely and was good and hot when it arrived. My personal pizza was sort of dry, maybe over-cooked a bit. My daughter mentioned hers was as well. The others seemed satisfied that their food was okay, and it disappeared pretty quickly. The entire time, our server kept glasses filled and checked back frequently. The restaurant is not cozy. It’s a big open place. Not too many tables were filled, so no interrupting nearby conversations. We will most likely go back. It is usually good food, but with Mother’s Day, the kitchen may have had more to do so couldn’t watch some of the food as well.

We traveled over five hours from Massachusetts to check out a local college and stayed overnight in Bangor. My nephew loves BWW and it was a great time to relax with him after a long day. The food was perfect and the wait staff was great. Highly recommended
