Restaurants near Carey's Castle

Food arrived quickly and was excellent. The potstickers are too thick/spongy for my liking, but they tasted fine. The Beijing Beef was very spicy so if I order it again, I will ask for them to cut back on the pepper flakes. General Tso's Chicken was good but is thigh meat and was too sweet for my dining partner's tastes. Both dishes were not our usual order but glad we tried them. Service is courteous, and despite the fact that there are lots of employees running around, the service is never attentive. I think the staff is stretched running back-and-forth from the dining area to the bar area to wait tables. We've eaten here probably 5-6 times in the past year and service is always the same. The noise level in the dining room is deafening. We went early and it was great...very few tables occupied. But, as we finished eating, the room was filling up and the noise level just gets very loud.

Really enjoyed our dinner at italica. Such a nice atmosphere in the small restaurant. The food was very, very good. We had pasta dishes that were very good and the Caesar salad was excellent. I would recommend this as a go to spot.

Wonderful setting and innovative dishes. Maybe not serve all tapas at the same time. Waitress could have been more acessible.
