Restaurants near Cameron Run Regional Park

Recently visited Barca on a Friday night. We sat out on the pier and the weather was perfect! The food was great - our favorites were the goat cheese/pita and the croquetas. As for the atmosphere, it left a little to be desired. Our table was directly next to the bar and there was a large crowd gathered near our table that was a bit loud. One person dropped their beer and it splashed in our direction. It felt a bit like Barca intentionally overbooks and just works through the chaos it creates. Even with this, I’d gladly go back for another meal (maybe just at a slower time!). Overall recommend.

On Friday, June 20, we went back to Founding Farmers in Alexandria, VA to give it a 2nd chance. We had incredible table service, and the food was delicious. The spinach dip, onion rings, scallops, shrimp, prime rib, and brisket sandwich were great! Save room for dessert! Thanks to Jaee the manager and the staff for a really nice experience.

Our first time dining and Ada’s was fantastic. Our server (from Puerto Rico) was efficient and all smiles. The Giant Crab Cakes were delicious. So was the Black Brioche starter. I had a daily special cocktail containing passion fruit which was refreshing. The chocolate dessert was amazing.

Excellent food. Exceptional service. Cannot wait to return!
