Restaurants near Caloosahatchee National Wildlife Refuge

Service was good. Luncheon menu food was overcooked and seemed like it was leftover from the busy lunch crowd. Not up to the usual quality.

This was our first time trying Cooper’s Hawk and it won’t be our last! We started with the Thai chicken lettuce wraps and egg rolls ( both outstanding) and then had the soy ginger salmon and the Shanghai short ribs (very good) and finished up with the ice cream cookie (tasty). We enjoyed the ‘Create Your Own’ wine flight of four different flavors. Our server, Courtney, was excellent…..friendly, helpful, and efficient. We will certainly try Cooper’s Hawks in other cities and would love a location to open in Houston!

Oxbow is always a great dining experience. The food and service are consistently very good. The ambience is just what you would want when dining at a waterfront restaurant. It is comfortably casual. It is a "live" sounding room.

It was our anniversary. They greeted us by name wishing us happy anniversary. Table had heart decor and a card to us. Our waitress Kathleen was excellent! Came to check on us often as well as executive chef and manager. My Capital cosmo was delicious. We had filet with poached lobster and my husband had the bone in veal chop. They brought us a crème brûlée for dessert. All was wonderful and really delicious! Definitely recommend for special occasions!

We love visiting Casa D’Italia when we are in town. Both of our meals were delicious (clams in white wine/lemon sauce and mixed seafood pasta). Even better, Verandah residents receive a discount on Monday or Tuesday nights- even better! Thank you!
