Delicious food and excellent service. The Deserts were particularly impressive.

Food was lovely. Meeting my friends the restaurant was low level noise so able to talk Staff were lovely and very attentive

Greeted warmly within seconds of arrival. When he realized we were Americans he wished us a Happy 4th of July. Food was exquisite. Staff was super friendly as we’re the regulars. Even the Ladies room gets high marks.

Beautiful setting for a hotel/restaurant, worth a visit for that alone. Very peaceful by the sitting by the stream. Hotel is situated in a lovely little hamlet. Inside the restaurant, the ambience was lovely, staff all very friendly. The food was very tasty but slightly expensive for what it was.

The Fleece overlooks the green in the heart of beautiful Witney. Parking was plentiful and the perfect place to stop for a stroll around the shops too. Greeted by a warm welcome, we were shown to our table and served by James, who couldn’t have provided a better service. I chose from the specials board, Asparagus to start then the delightful Monkfish, cooked in paper to retain the juices and sitting proudly on a bed of mussels, olives and sweet tiny tomatoes. My Husband, the birthday boy, had crab and then the succulent rolled Pork Belly. All the food was delicious, served promptly accompanied with a very tasty cocktail. No room for pudding. Sadly, the Fleece is about two hours drive away for us because we would undoubtedly return regularly. If you are in the area, don’t miss this opportunity. We loved it.
