It was our first time at Cucci, all the recommendations to try it were justified! Although not much selection on the menu, their daily specials are worth trying. We had the grilled chicken with pasta, veggies in an olive oil, garlic and a touch of goat cheese…Simply divine! The portions are very generous including the appetizers and entrees and can easily be shared. A must in Oakville, and a repeat for special occasions for us!

We chose the upstairs patio which was comfortable with a good supply of umbrellas to manage the sun. Cute little bar. Nice selection of beers and wines. Menu was creative and varied. We started with crab cakes and the Arancini. We could have shared one appetizer, but then again, I am a small eater. Arancini was creamy with nice supply of red pepper. Worth it. The crab cakes were dense with crab meat. They could have used a dipping sauce with a bit more zest to it rather than depending on avocado cream, but otherwise good. Mains were Wild boar, which was excellent and the duck which was also excellent. Overall a very positive experience. I would go again.
