The Merchant is a big space that served for more than a century as a leather store. We've brought in high-top tables near the windows ... a 40-foot bar on one side of the room … and more formal dining spots on the opposite side. We have a semi-private dining room in back, and another private dining room downstairs. For our menu, we make almost all of our fare from scratch. Executive chef Ignacio Lopez previously worked at both Beat Hotel in Cambridge and Tuscan Kitchen in Burlington. Chef Lopez cures and smokes all the meat in house. Our burger is top-notch, as are other dishes like house-made Gnochhi, Roasted Organic Chicken Breaks, and Steak Frites. The Merchant serves salads, sandwiches ($12-$19), and more for the lunch rush. And for dinner, we are a full-service brasserie (with most entrees ranging from $22-$28). The bar has 30+ rotating beers on tap, many of them locally brewed, plus a full selection of craft cocktails to serve our patrons, including the after-work crowd.

Pammy’s is a New American restaurant inspired by the feel of an Italian neighborhood trattoria. Perched between Cambridge’s Central and Harvard Squares, Pammy’s is a cozy yet sophisticated neighborhood destination. For husband and wife team Chris and Pam Willis (who live right up the street), Pammy’s is an extension of their living room. They’ve brought together their love of great food, easy hospitality and chic vibes to create a lively space that is welcoming to all looking for a memorable meal. With dishes that lean heavily on Italian flavors but are not restricted by any rules of the cuisine, the food is unpretentious and delicious. A fireplace wrapped in white ceramic, an oversized salvaged communal table designed for side-by-side dining and rich leather banquets are just some of the design elements that make up Pammy’s charm. We're currently serving a Prix Fixe menu for all reservations. A la carte dining is available for walk-in guests at our bar and in our lounge.

I had an amazing experience at Terra!! The service was great and fast, and the food… amazing. Everything from the bread to salads to pastas, WOW! I was thoroughly impressed. Not to mention how beautiful it is! We had sat at 3:30 and with the restaurant closing from 4-5pm for turnover, I was skeptical if service would dull down/ be more rush. Our server was SO nice and attentive and did not treat us any different no matter the time. Something I really value as a guest and with my experience as a service, it’s something I look out for. Overall, such a great experience at Terra and I can’t wait to return!!

I finally made it to Krasi. I'm a huge fan of Greek food and it was always on the bucket list. It's necessary to book way in advance btw. The pictures look somewhat sterile, but in fact it is a lively place (although the noise level was ok and didn't impact our conversation). Service was knowledgeable and excellent. Our waiter had a number of tables and was busy, but never hectic. The food: they serve meze style, meaning you order 8-10 dishes for the 5 people we had in our party. Food was excellent and not your typical greek food (e.g. no gyro). Upscale, but Greek. White wine was from Santorini and a good match. They also have an extensive selection of Uzo. Great evening we will remember and will go again!

This was our second visit to the new Eastern Standard before a Red Sox game. Thrilled that the restaurant is back in business!!!! Loved to see many of the food items from the first restaurant remain on the menu with a few new tasty additions. Our meals (food, cocktails, wine) were delicious and our server very personable, professional and attentive. We''ll definitely be back again this Red Sox season!!!
