Our dad, Mikey and grandfather, Mel were deli “regulars,” dining at their favorite Cleveland, Ohio places. Mikey and grandfather. They savored juicy pastrami and corned beef, amazingly fresh pickles and intensely huge deserts. Their daily deli lunches were times to conduct business, strike deals and make friends. We often joined our dad and grandfather at the deli table. Cuba de Ayer is our family's favorite restaurant in the area. Our dining experience was outstanding, as usual. Once again, I ordered my favorite dish, shrimp in garlic sauce. The sauce is fantastic, especially when you dip the warm bread in it! The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend Cuba de Ayer.

The food was very flavorful and tasty, but the chicken was fried a little too hard. The service was excellent, but staff should not only wipe down tables, but also wipe off the chairs and sweeping the floors.
