The 80-seat terrace, planted with trees, adds a convivial dimension and lets you enjoy the outdoor setting without cars! The menu focuses on "porzione", Italian tapas designed for sharing. Located just a stone's throw from the Hôtel de Ville and the Marais district, Le Coupe Gorge restaurant, with its antique parquet flooring, dressed stonework and red velvet banquettes, exudes the flavour of old Paris and the pleasures of fine dining. The restaurant was founded in 1895 on rue de la Coutellerie, a street that owes its name to the many active cutlers. Its current name is more recent, no doubt due to the offbeat humour of one of its previous owners! Far from being a trap, Le Coupe Gorge offers a warm atmosphere, typical of old Parisian establishments, and a friendly welcome.
