Brown Swan is at a lovely resort. Restaurant with beautiful views of Schroon Lake and grounds. Eating on the porch is a treat. We were two couples. Three of us ordered short ribs which were outstanding. Remaining person ordered Maple Chicken which was excellent flavor but this man said it could have been larger pieces of chicken breast. He was happy to help his partner finish her short ribs. At the end, we were too full to order desert and very happy. I have had the trout during previous meals and it is always excellent. Service was excellent. Fast, friendly and efficient. My husband and I came frequently last year for brunch on the porch and it was always wonderful.

We had a great time at dinner at the Owl at Twilight! The restaurant was sold out and the musician (Gary Hempsey) was outstanding! We enjoyed the Swordfish and Gnocci specials, and really enjoyed the Fried Green Tomato salad - it was superb! The waitstaff was delightful - very nice, professional, and attentive. Can’t wait to go back - it’s really the only nice restaurant for 25 miles around…

Highly recommend this restaurant. We stay in Lake Placid frequently but usually make the short trip to Saranac to go to The Campfire Adirondack Grill Restaurant. As usual we thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and ambience at our most recent visit.

Carrots were probably the best carrot i have ever had. Just nice dinner was had by all. Staff was wonderful.
