Max Oyster bar - W. Hartford never disappoints. We had a very friendly waitress who never rushed us once and started with a glass of champagne, which was lovely. The restaurant was decorated beautifully for the holidays… Ambience is always warm and inviting. I'm a big fan of their shrimp scampi, the pasta is homemade and so fresh. enjoy!

We enjoy The Republic every time we go. Food and staff are amazing which is the most important fact to us.

My sons and their partners and I decided to have Thanksgiving dinner at Millwright and it was overall a very good experience. We had a 5:30 reservation though we were not seated til 6 (which was a bit ironic since they had called me the day before to indicate that we had to be there on time and they would only hold the table for 10 minutes), however, they made up for it by offering a half off bottle of wine, which was quite generous. The prix fixe dinner was excellent, being Thanksgiving, most of us opted for the turkey, which was great, especially the confit. I loved the smoked salmon mousse, it was a nice creative touch. All else got the more conventional first courses, as is their wont, and they enjoyed them. The sides were delicious, the service impeccable and the atmosphere lovely. Rather expensive for a turkey dinner, but it is a vibe. So I would do it again, I am a semi-regular visitor to the Tavern, my favorite part of the restaurant.

There for my son's birthday. They seated us right away. The table immediately next to us was a 25+ yr old couple. In twenty seconds i had seen and heard enough. The girl talking loudly with her mouth full of food..said "legit" 3 times in the same sentence and hit her hand on the table top laughing. I kindly asked the host to move us to a different table. They accommodated without hesitation. Ordinarily I dont care, eat and be merry but not for the money i was paying nope. The service, food, server, buss staff, all impeccable Class operation

Great food, great service. Pace of dining experience was just right. Have had consistently good experience at this restaurant!
