The food and ambience were great. Our hostess was incredibly nice, attentive and kind. She made our little 8 yo birthday celebrant feel like a princess. Everyone in our group (two of them from Arizona, two from Walnut Creek and one from Elk Grove) had a delightful time. Our hostess also had us take our time eating and talking so we could all catch up after a couple of years not seeing one another. A wonderful and fun time was had by all. For sure, we’ll be back—it’s my second time coming to this very nice and quaint place.

The food was delicious. There were seven of us and the service was excellent. Thank you for helping us celebrate a birthday!

Lovely summer evening on the patio- great service in a beautiful setting.

Love the food at Exchange 1874. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. My wife had the duck and I the lamb. Both were outstanding! And the calamari is a great starter The service is excellent. From seating and throughout dinner service, everything was spot on. Laci, our waitress last night (she's been our waitress before as well) was very friendly, personable and on the ball. The rest of the waitstaff was very friendly, attentive, always checking to see if water was needed, to take away dishes, or just make sure everything was as it should be. All done in a very non-intrusive fashion. Though we didn't visit the Ghost Lounge last night, we have on numerous occasions. They also serve the full menu there. We are very happy that they have started jazz nights in the lounge. It's great to have a good jazz venue now that Wine and Roses has remodeled their bar and dropped their jazz night. The music can be a little loud at times, but so far, the musicians have been great. So, whether you're in the mood for dinner, a few drinks, or some jazz, Exchange 1874 is the place to go!
