Restaurants near Best Western Golden Sails

Took husband here for his bday and so sweet to see the staff treat him special— just acknowledging his bday, a signed bday card and some celebratory ice cream—- along with a great table to watch the sunset. The restaurant is beautiful, it’s not too loud (thank goodness), views are beautiful and food great too. We happened to be there early so even got to benefit from their happy hour! Definitely will be back.

Before you order, watch the food coming out of the kitchen. The presentation is outstanding and only surpassed by the flavor. Using this approach, our meal was a series of appetizers and plates ... empanadas, crab croquettes, meat balls, ravioli. Each was terrific. We saw lots of pallella around us, but had were already satisfied. It is on the list for next time, and there will be a next time. Service was great, attentive and made perfect suggestions.

Our server was great! She was attentive and proactive with drinks and service. The food was great (we had short ribs and a hamburger). Bee Gees Gold really delivered an outstanding performance. I love going to the Gaslamp!

Food is always great. Service is always great. It’s just hard not spending a lot of $ here. Too bad they don’t offer specials.
