- DDavidvipNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoUnbelievable views of the city and beyond in this ultra-chic bar buzzing with people dressed to impress. A great selection of mixed drinks and a good wine list. Plenty of non alcoholic choices too. At 5:30 it was pretty calm, by 6:30 it was filled. A real “experience”.More infoNubeluzPrice: Very Expensive• Cocktail Bar• NoMad•4.6

I used to come to New York to work and afterwards eat at Hawksmoor. Now I come to New York to eat there and then make a point to work.More infoHawksmoor NYCPrice: Very Expensive• American• Gramercy Park•4.6
- JJeannevipNew Orleans / Louisiana •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoCasa Mono is always an experience, not just a meal. We sat at the counter to have the opportunity to watch the kitchen staff do their magic. The dishes were inventive and flavorful. The wine list was magnificent and there were plenty of great options to choose from. Though our waiter was experienced, he didn't really explain any of the dishes and I felt pressured to make decisions without any assistance. I ordered wine and he never came over to fill my wine glass when it was near empty. At the end of the night I was having a sherry digestif and we planned to send the rest to the back because it was more than I could drink and he came over and dumped its contents into my glass. It felt more like a push to get out the door. We've been coming to Casa Mono since it opened but don't live in NYC anymore and hadn't been in years. The overall feeling is still a very special and delicious experience, but it feels more like a machine and not a sweet neighborhood delight, at least compared to the past. I would still return because of the food and the ambiance. Overall, a great restaurant!More infoCasa MonoPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Union Square•4.6
