I had a wonderful dining experience at Balcón del Zócalo. I originally booked an 8 PM reservation through OpenTable but arrived early, and the staff kindly accommodated us. The restaurant is very elegant—perfect for a date—with a covered balcony that overlooks the beautifully lit Zócalo. The balcony was closed due to rain the night we visited, but I was impressed to learn they can open the roof and walls for nice weather. The four-course menu was a bit confusing at first since you choose each course individually, but overall, the service, view, and atmosphere made it a memorable evening.

Beautiful atmosphere with excellent service. Server, Jose, was kind and attentive! The food was absolute chef’s kiss!

Honestly, it was a really great experience. The music is top tier, the drinks are really good, and affordable. Most of the food is good, especially the sushi. Only thing that let me down was that I had reserved a specific area and when I got there due to a lack of staff they had to move me to another space . But overall, it was a great time.
