Service was informal but informative, professional and fun, great recommendations and attentiveness, food was expertly cooked and presented; well though our flavours and textures pre show dinner, they made sure we were fed well and left on time highly recommend

My son and I were visiting Paris. He's a chef and a real foodie, and very knowledgeable about food. I spotted the restaurant on a local guide website (mademoisellebonplan.fr/en/my-favorite-restaurants-in-montmartre/) and she made it sound wonderful. So we went and we were absolutely blown away! From the first cheery, "Bonsoir!" from the man at the door, which was echoed by all the other waiting staff, to the detailed explanation (in English, thank goodness. My French is okay, but basic, and the wonderful details of the menu explanation would have been lost on me.) we were treated to a good experience that we will remember for a very long time. The waiter told us about the Levantine way of sharing food and explained what each dish was. We ordered sharing platters, tapas-style; marinated sardines and anchovies, bacon-wrapped king prawns, a massive sheet of levantine flatbread that I could happily have kept to myself, along with a dip made from roasted aubergine and another, like hummus, but with the addition of a puree of green chillies. It complemented the punchy saltiness of the blackened, herb- rusted bread fabulously. A main of a sort-of ravioli with a tomato and ouzo butter sauce followed, with bread to sponge up the rude-to-leave-uneaten sauce. We were both almost laughing with joy at the quality of the food and the ambience of the restaurant and the happy shouts of "Bonsoir!" as every new customer walked in. I drank a beer. My son stuck to the table water. We finished with a wonderful plate of salty/sweet caramel crumble on top of which oozed a fabulous mousse of chocolate with a blob of olive oil salted caramel and a literal blanket of some edible "velvet" material. Absolutely stunning. Some of the finest food I have ever eaten. Ever. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Quite possibly the best meal I had in Paris this trip (and that includes some Michelin starred restaurants). Truly the most wonderful experience and exquisite food!

The weekend brunch was wonderful with incredible eggs, drip coffee, and a buffet of pancakes and cakes!
