Excellent... just a little noisy in the basement. Very hard to have dinner conversation + the TVs being on took away from the restaurant feel and gave it a sports bar vibe. But the food was excellent and service very good.

Started with the Ricotta stuffed Zucchini Flowers, they were light and delicate... the sea bass was at first off-putting in that the exterior was bright red like Ah-So Sauce, but the fish was amazing. pure white and cooked to perfection. The sweet and sour "red" sauce added such a nice flavor. Normally I wouldn't think to order steak when dining in the north end...but I decided to have the 12 oz filet..... OMG I asked for it Rare+ and it was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth.... The side of Brussels was good, but really could have been crispier.... Great Job Bricco!!

I love Earls and it is one of my go-tos. I wouldve given this review more stars, however when two of my friends and I were there yesterday one of our meals was inedible and the server didnt address this. Let me explain: one friend and I both got salads which were good. However, my 3rd friend got the noodle bowl, which frankly was not pleasant to the eye appearance wise and according to her was inedible. She was hesitant to say anything to the server, because as she explained to us she chose it and it wasnt the restaurant's fault she didnt like it. However, we never even got the chance to address it because our server (who was great until after we ordered) never came back to check on us. And although my friend only took one bite of her food, when the server dropped off the check she never asked her what was wrong (although there was a full plate of food in front of her.) Again, some of the blame can be put on us for not saying anything, but it was pretty obvious. This was the first time out of 20 or so times Ive been here that anything has been less than perfect, we were just surprised at the lack of attention or a check in from the server, especially since it wasnt that busy.

Since having a much loathed and unwanted gluten intolerance thrust upon me I have had 60-80% of menus become off limits. Adhering being shoved into this sad little corner, constantly worrying about kitchen errors or miscommunications and accidentally getting glutened, I have finally after 3 years had the best meal of my life. Yes. Of my life this far. I don’t say this lightly. This was revelatory. The gluten free Monday was a feast for the stomach and the soul. All my gluten free peeps in and around the Boston area. Please for the love of god, do yourself a favor and go to Prima for gluten free Monday night. I will be there every Monday eating until I explode. The ambience is stunning, especially the rose room, the staff are kind and funny, and the FOOD is so good. Even my non-gluten free counterparts agree that it was good food. Not just food for gluten free, but amazing food across the board even being gluten free.
