The service at La Gastroteca was outstanding. The food was on point, and you could taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. We especially loved the Gnocchi—definitely worth trying! A huge thanks to our waiter, Juan Carlos, who did an amazing job. He was attentive and kind, took the time to explain the house specials, and checked on us just the right amount. We celebrated my partner's birthday, so we were hoping for a quiet, long conversation. However, since the room is somewhat small, I recommend going earlier rather than later, as it can get quite noisy when the place fills up. The decor is elegant, with subtle lighting and slow, romantic music. La Gastroteca was definitely worth it.

I love garlic, you should do it if you are planning to go

The service was excellent and I appreciated being able to tip freely and not being presented the standard 10% fixed tip which would have not been appropriate for the great service we received. El pulpo a la Gallega was excellent. Was not crazy about the sushi rolls as one came out hot and was not noted as so on the menu. Reduce the choices and include pictures, especially with the sushi side of it. Will be back.

What a great restaurant, I was blown away by the attention to detail and the quality of the food. We were an LGBTQIA+ couple celebrating a special occasion and the restaurant not only acknowledged it but helped make it special by serving us a special dessert. Thank you Monarca for a wonderful meal experience.

Difficult to find. Location is away from the main road and there were no signs for easy finding. Service was awesome. Only ate a couple of starters and they were good and savory. Nice ambiance with open space rooms. For my taste the music was a bit loud although a good selection of 60-80’s rock.
