Foghorn Brewery was born of a dream to make craft beer the way it ought to be made—from grain to glass all under one roof.The historic building in King Street had been abandoned for several years when we first set foot inside. In that dusty old warehouse, we saw the potential to create something really special.And so it was that Newcastle’s first modern craft brewery opened its doors in April 2015. The town’s industrial roots have played a big part in shaping the unique character of Foghorn Brewery. Built from the ground up, this art deco era warehouse with exposed roof trusses now houses a custom 1800 litre brewery.

    Our party of 10 were very impressed with our 5 star experience in Pokolbin dining at Iron Gate Kitchen …with welcoming professional staff, in a warm and inviting venue. We enjoyed fabulous hospitality and an exceptional set price mouth watering winter menu in the private dining room. We all sat back & relaxed with delicious Iron Gate Shiraz and local Hunter wine selections. Will definitely be back!

    The high tea was just lovely. Beautiful location, wonderful service and great choices for food and drinks. As a coeliac I was also well catered for. Thank you for such a lovely couple of hours

    The B farm Picnic is a great setting to enjoy nature and unwind. I was there with my husband and 1 year old son and we had a great time. There was plenty of space for my son to run around and plenty of room for us to lay our picnic mat down and have a relaxing time. The food was okay but the ambience made up for it. There was live music too. We had a super relaxing time and loved being amidst nature. Highly recommend!
