Everything was beyond wonderful regarding staff and ambiance. However, we chose a Japanese Wagyu prime cut from a Texas supplier on the more expensive end, and the flavor and freshness were disappointing. I expected a well seasoned melt in your mouth experience, but we left hungry and disappointed.

The St Jacques a la Chou Chou as a starter was the best scallop dish we’ve had in a decade. The Wednesday only French Shepard Pie, Carrot and Potato Mousseline was better than any beef stew I’ve ever had, bar none. The reduction had an amazing depth of flavor for a simple dish of beef smothered in gratinéed potato purée. Le steak was perfect, edge to edge medium rare. I’d take a week of Wednesdays for the whole meal again.

I have dined here several times, but this occasion was for my anniversary. The waiter was very attentive and thoughtful and the staff gave us a great experience with a special desert at the end of the meal and a personalized card congratulating us on the special occasion.
