Very happy we decided to make a dinner reservation! Clean and trendy interior with the charm. I had the braised short rib and my husband had the fried chicken. Would highly recommended the short rib as it was great tasting and appropriately priced. Many wines to pick from at all price levels. Love when restaurants still include bread/biscuits. Not overly crowded even though it was a difficult reservation to get on a Friday night.

The Pirate’s House is a perfect dinner spot in Savannah. We enjoyed a delicious meal here - the she crab soup and grouper were so good! Our server was so kind; he spoke as if everything we said and did was the greatest idea ever. After dining, we explored the restaurant and saw the historic staircase, The Herb House (the oldest house in Savannah), and the mysterious pit and rounded archway. Food, ambiance, and history made this the best dinner in Savannah.

The restaurant is well appointed and has a beautiful view of Savannah. The food was good but nothing was outstanding. Service was not great; we had to wait over 40 minutes for our food (mainly pizza and salad). The manager did discount some of our entrees to compensate for the wait.
