We currently offer in-house dining Tuesday through Sunday from 4:30-10:00pm (last dinner seating is at 9:30). Takeout is no longer available at this time. Patio dining is available Memorial Day weekend through September and always subject to weather. Please call us directly to reserve a patio table, but keep in mind that of the six 4-tops available outside, three are kept for walk-ins only.Our restaurant features Paolo Laboa, international chef from Genova, Italy. His menu consists of simple, flavorful and authentic Northern Italian cuisine. This includes handmade pasta, crudo (raw fish), fresh pizza and an all-Italian wine list. Ingredients are sourced locally, from various Maine farms and from the Gulf of Maine, whenever possible.

We are a small restaurant with only 22 seats and cannot always accommodate larger parties. Established in April of 2015, The Taverna serves authentic Greek fare while remaining true to our Greek roots. Our menu highlights what is available to us locally and seasonally. Our wine list is one of the largest all Greek wine lists in the United States which features natural, orange and organic wines.     Our server, Molly was absolutely outstanding. She took the time to explain all the wine and food options and provided recommendations for us. We got there early, so it was quiet when we arrived and wait staff was taste testing the new wines, which we appreciate because they can recommend based on what they’ve tasted. I would say the food is like a four-point five not quite a five but the ambience and service and overall experience was outstanding. The chef is known for the pesto so order the noodles with the pesto. We would definitely go back again.

    This is a special place off the main street of Brunswick perfect for a date or a small gathering. It's like being in a Greek friend's kitchen. I went three times this summer and each meal with wonderful. Don't miss the zucchini fritters. The wine selection is unique and delicious. Everything is super fresh. Make a reservation and head over!!
