You won't find a neighborhood restaurant anywhere close to Greenville doing what chef Shawn Kelly set out to do: provide both neighbors and visitors alike the Upstate's freshest and most plentiful meats, produce, and products, both as a dine-in and carryout option. This concept supports the idea that farmers and chefs can make a living supplying a community with its daily necessities, while also encouraging enjoyment of a simple meal of a sandwich or steak, chop, or bake.Just imagine: Wednesdays become your favorite lunch day of fresh and locally-sourced soups and salads with a friend. Then you get a favorite bottle of wine to bring home, coupled with carefully chosen side dishes and the best burgers and fresh Carolina seafood in Greenville to throw on the grill. Or maybe you even have a long-standing Sunday brunch date!

This was our first time at Soby’s. What a great experience! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! And, wow, what a wine list! The restaurant was full of diners and the noise level was not too bad. We were seated in a booth and somewhat shielded from the tables. For appetizers we had the Boudin Balls and the specialty burrata and peaches. Dinner entrees included the filet and the short ribs. Both were cooked perfectly! Dessert was the limoncello cheesecake. All the items we ordered were flavorful and delicious! All the portions were ample. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

The cucumber wrap and toro sashimi are must-have appetizers for us. The cucumber wrap is refreshing, crisp and full of flavor and the toro melts in your mouth. The lucky charm is our favorite roll, while the poke bowl is like a deconstructed LC - just as tasty and (maybe) easier to eat. I don’t remember his name, but the bartender waited on us and he was fantastic. Can’t wait till next time!
