    Server was very good. Some of the best fried chicken I've eve had, crispy thin crust with good flavor and moist and tender meat. The kitchen was "backed up" so it took an hour from placing our order to receiving food. This like the other locations I've been to, feels like a well run local restaurant. Good staff, good food in a good setting. This is a go to no brainer

    Food & service were excellent! We loved it all. Oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, scallops served over corn risotto, tuna, & tiramisu. Our wine was reasonably priced as well. My only regret is that I had to leave my leftovers there because we were heading straight to a concert & it was too hot outside to leave it for 3-4 hrs. We’ll see you next time we’re in Grand Rapids!

    Always a wonderful time. The service is exceptional. The menu is well curated and every dusk we’ve tried has been incredible. The atmosphere is lively and comfortable. We try to make allora a regular “date night” at least a couple times a month.

    We have gone to Scholar many times. It is consistently fantastic! I am always impressed by the staff and the quality of the meals! We totally recommend it and always take out of town guests there.
