Café Napoli is a family owned restaurant, established in 1989 by Tony and Kathy Pietoso. Quickly becoming a success, they moved the small basement restaurant to a larger location at the corner of Forsyth and Bemiston in the heart of Clayton. In 2003, sons Ande and Kye expanded their family restaurant by adding Bar Napoli, a swank cocktail lounge. A few years later, Napoli Reserve was added onto Bar Napoli allowing for private event space and an additional bar and lounge for the weekends. After years of a flourishing business, Kathy and Tony decided to take their ventures West to Town and Country where they opened their second location, Napoli2, managed by Ande. Kye has taken the reigns from his father and is now the front man for the 8,000 square foot establishment in Clayton. Café Napoli and Bar Napoli have recently undergone a face lift inside and out. Inside the kitchen, Executive Chef from Napoli2 Jon Berger was recently added to the team, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the regional Italian specialties.

    Came in for a date night and Napoli Sea did not disappoint. The service was spot on and the food was delightful. My husband got the shrimp prawns that came with squash and potato au gratin and loved it all. I got one of the fresh fish entrees which was Calamari steak served with fresh arugula, pickled onions, fresh tomatoes and capers. I love good calamari but had never heard of calamari steak. The server described it as the texture of scallops and that was right on. It was tender and delicious. For sure would not hesitate to order either dish again.

    We had such an amazing experience at Napoli III! We were celebrating my aunt’s birthday and Roberta took such great care of us. She was warm, attentive, and so thoughtful and really made the whole evening feel extra special. We truly appreciated her! The manager also stopped by to check on us, which was such a nice touch and made us feel really taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious. The seafood pasta special was incredible and packed with seafood, the clam chowder was so flavorful, and the gnocchi was perfectly soft and delicious. The shrimp cocktail was SO good we wanted to order MORE. The calamari was also a hit at our table, and the crème brûlée was the perfect way to end the night! Everything from the food to the service was wonderful. Roberta truly went above and beyond for us and made my aunt’s birthday dinner so memorable. We left very happy and will absolutely be back!

    Another great date night out. Husband had his usual. And I tried a new Salmon grilled dish. It was very good. Service was great. Our water glasses were never empty but he didn't hover. We were full, so no dessert for us (this time).

    Very good experience on this visit. Server was friendly and efficient. Enjoyed the Harissa Chicken Salad. Very tasting while being pretty healthy. My friend enjoyed the shrimp tacos--tasty and very generous serving size. Noise level can be high is my only complaint. Overall a very good experience.
