At Palenque Kitchen Riverside, while the service is friendly and welcoming, the food doesn’t quite live up to expectations. I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas, which were hot but not sizzling in the way fajitas should be, leaving the dish feeling a bit underwhelming. I also tried the Pulpo and Brussels sprouts dish, where the octopus came out mushy, a texture that detracted from the overall experience. The Brussels sprouts were fine, but the lack of proper texture in the octopus was disappointing. Overall, the meal was adequate, but it lacked the excitement or passion that could have made it stand out. It’s a decent spot for a casual meal, but don’t expect a culinary experience that will leave a lasting impression.

The spicy pasta was to hot although told it wasn’t spicy at all when ordered.. garlic shrimp linguine was excellent.. nice place to eat..

Excellent as always. We dine here whenever we visit Riverside. My steak was cooked perfectly, although it was a bit light on the peppercorn sauce. The baked potato was enormous!

this is the first time I have ever been there, and the food was pretty bland and the service was mediocre. This is my favorite spot to go to in Riverside so I’m not bad mouthing it to be picky!

The V improvements made on the menu at Las Campañas are greatly appreciated. They now have a variety of tacos available and a coffe rubbed steak which was my choice! They also had a live guitarist which we absolutely enjoyed! It added to the ambience. Our server Luis was extremely attentive
