We were there for an anniversary celebration, party of 2. The overall experience was good and we would return. The food by itself wouldn't be worth returning for...it was okay. However adding the ambiance and the Irish live music, it made it worthwhile. The filet and short ribs were kinda fatty. However, the sauces, the goat cheese/cranberry salad and cheese fondue was good. We would do the entire fondue dinner next time.

Really impressed with my meal at Eldo Chop House. Had a nice date night and it was the perfect environment. Large open bar space in the front looked inviting but our table was in the main dining hall. We started with the grilled octopus and nigiri bites and they were both fantastic. The king salmon was a real treat. We split a wedge salad and it was great. For our entrees we shared the filet mignon and the day boat scallops. I recommend them both. The filet was very traditional with asparagus and mashed potatoes on a fantastic semi glacé. The scallops were a playful dish in an amazing green curry sauce. The chicharrones were a really nice touch. Finished with the butter cake. I’d recommend everything and probably do the exact same order again next time. Great for dates or family dinners.

This eatery is so consistently excellent that one might think they are in a time warp. The food is absolutely spectacular, no exaggeration, and the prices will have you smiling. Located in a very picturesque little town. Do yourself a favor.

Our girls-day-out lunch at Monkey Cat was terrific. We started with a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and split the Polenta Shrimp Corn Dogs with Aioli appetizer. I had the Chopped Salad with chicken. Beautiful presentation and flavors. My friend had the Cauli Garden Bowl. She shared a few bites and it was delicious! (The chipotle lime coconut sauce was amazing.) Service is always good. We will definitely be back!
