Travis and Ryan Croxton debut their spinoff from the highly acclaimed Rappahannock Oyster Bar at Union Market in Washington, DC. They’ve even brought their DC Chef, Kevin Kelly, to man the kitchen at this outpost. This location in the historic Cigar Factory Building on East Bay Street, allows room for Chef Kelly to showcase more of his cuisine to a larger audience, including an incredibly unique 40 seat raw bar. Oysters grown by the Croxton’s own Rappahannock Oyster Company are accentuated, but Kelly’s signature dishes like lambs’n’clams, crabcakes, shrimp & grits and the best po’ boy you’ll ever eat are enough reasons in their own right for constant visits. Coupled with a great cocktail program and focus on local ingredients, ROB is a great place for any occasion.

Our return to Indaco was as delightful as our first visit over a year and a half ago, which was so memorable that we chose it for a post-wedding celebration (we're pizza aficionados). The experience exceeded our expectations. We toasted with prosecco and cocktails before indulging in crispy oysters, soft shell crab on squid ink pasta, and a delectable pizza (half margarita, half spicy soppressata). We were so stuffed, we couldn't try dessert. Our server, Kaitlyn (I hope memory of her name serves correctly amidst the toasts), was exceptionally attentive, striking the perfect balance between celebration and keeping things low-key (as we requested). It's the combination of superb food and impeccable service that sets Indaco apart. Many thanks to Kaitlyn and the team for making our special day even more memorable. Your care and attention are truly appreciated.

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. Everything was lovely. The scallops were prepared in the most flavorful way; best I’ve ever had. Coconut cake is a must! Service (Dana) was very attentive, but in a subtle way. This was one of the highlights of our yearly trip to Charleston!

Manger checked on us as my friend has pepper allergies. Very accommodating. Food was hot and good. We had steaks. My husband loved the lamb burger. Server was new but tried. For the most part my water glass was kept full. Loved the interior. I def eat here again. I did think $19 for a salad was a tad crazy but the steak was reasonably priced. Hope you enjoy eating here. We did.

Coast was outstanding. From the grilled swordfish to the conch fritters to the seafood jambalaya and easily one of the best key lime pies we've ever had, best dinner we had visiting SC. Staff was informed, professional and personable and the manager even checked in to make sure everything was good. In 2024, the front of the house often gets overlooked with unqualified and uninterested employees but Coast has that balance between awesome waitstaff and kitchen. We'll be back.
