An Olympic Valley staple. A meal at Plumpjack is part of my every visit.

We have recently discovered Sunnyside and are making it our "Home Away From Kitchen" place. We love the rustic, casual interior. Stephanie, who has been our server twice, is warm, accommodating and oh so competent. We will always ask for her. My WA state Cab was really nice and my husband enjoyed his beer. He had the Caesar, which came with the anchvies that he requested. Great dressing! I had the Buddha Bowl with salmon, which I may order every time for the rest of my lift. The vegetables are roasted so nicely, and the pickled vegetables have a great crunch and flavor. He had the Yak Bolognese. It was flavorful with big papparadelle and plenty of parmesan. He would have liked bigger chunks of meat, like a stew, but that is not a bolognese. We didn't have dessert but saw an enormous piece of delicious looking cake go by. Love this place!

A Perfect Spot to Celebrate Laura and I celebrated our 13th anniversary at River Ranch, and it couldn’t have been better. Our server was incredibly kind, congratulating us on the occasion, and they seated us at a cozy table by the fireplace—exactly what I’d requested. The service was great, the food was excellent, and after dinner, we had a glass of wine in the bar, sitting at the same table where we’d had one of our first dates. That was a pretty special way to mark the evening. We’ve always loved the old-school charm of River Ranch Lodge. There’s something about the warm, lived-in feel of a classic ski lodge that makes you want to stick around a little longer. Thanks to the wonderful staff for making our anniversary feel easy and memorable.

We had a gyro up of 8 kind of loud everyone else - perfect. The food was fabulous our waiter was Great. Just a wonderful time.
