We’re were first timers. Loved the restaurant, loved the view, ambience and the food was tasty. The best part of our experience was the noise level. Everyone at their tables had a low speaking voice which we really appreciated.

Beautiful place, well located, but people isn't nice

There are a ton of great places to eat in NYC but missing a meal at Carmine's would be a huge mistake. You're gonna need reservations to eat at this amazing restaurant just off of Time's Square but 5 minutes of pre-planning will absolutely pay off as you enjoy an awesome dining experience with friends and family. It's tight quarters inside but not so tight that you can't enjoy the atmosphere and food which are top notch. The wait staff is professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. A word to the wise, the portion sizes are generous so order light on the main course and save room for desert!

This time we did sushi bar and everything was beyond great. No need for a fancy omakase the sushi / sashimi combo is plentiful and delicious. We also got the steak frites and fried rice ( which is way too much food for two - but we wanted to try alot of things ) The steak and sauce was flavorful and dipping the fries in the gravy is a treat. The fried rice is exceptional. We didn’t have room for desert and that menu is not exciting.
