Great setting. Wonderful staff. One meal, crab cake sandwich was great. Caesar salad with grilled chicken was disgusting. The chicken was gray, chewy, fatty, with a weird taste. I’ve never had any chicken that ever looked like that or had that texture or was that awful. The server was great about it, the manager checked on our table and offered to make something else. And they would take off the price for the chicken. This was appropriate and appreciated. . I just ate the salad and left the chicken and hope they make serious adjustments to the chicken. I’ll go back as it probably was a one off. I hope so. Great spot and lovely people.

What can I say about La Vela other than absolutely great food, awesome service and attention to detail. We had a great time here and the best restaurant we have been to in this area.

The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very polite/welcoming. We will definitely come back again.

Our lunch was amazing and on top of that, with the weather being nice, being able to sit outside, looking at the sailboats on the water, it was just a wonderful experience.  we will definitely be back. 

We enjoyed our first visit. Service was excellent and the food was delicious! In addition to the regular menu they had some great specials to choose from. We'll be back!
