   Sat on the beautiful patio, had my usual filet mignon kebabs, which were cooked to perfect medium rare and super tender. Service was prompt and friendly. My only complaint is that prices have increased a lot.

   Eating outside on their charming European inspired patio is always a pleasure! It’s nice and toasty with the heaters, and if there’s a rowdy table ( as we had during our 1,1/2 hour dinner), it’s not a big deal, as there’s adequate room between tables. The wait staff is impeccably professional and wonderfully helpful, and our waiter was funny too! The food is consistently delicious, never disappoints….rather, always delights us with its savory Silk Road spices and perfectly done salmon. What a gem we have in this restaurant! We’re lucky!

   This is one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Cruz. The interior and the patio are beautiful. The food is wonderful and so is the presentation. Love it!

   Taluela was our waitress, and she was exceptional—well put-together, classy, polite, and incredibly attentive to detail. Honestly, she’s the kind of employee any business would be lucky to have—absolutely poachable! The food was excellent, and the ambiance was spot-on. The restaurant is in a great downtown Santa Cruz location, with an old-world, Mediterranean feel. They truly nailed the atmosphere—high ceilings, elegant decor, and a welcoming vibe. Everything was impeccably clean, from the floors and windows to the bathrooms and tables. The staff overall were polite and professional. The European cuisine was absolutely authentic, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Santa Cruz!

   We lunched today on Lalli's delightful private patio—3 high school friends getting together 60 years later to celebrate our recent birthdays. We began w/ freshly baked naan and the most innovative and flavorful mezze plate we'd ever had.. Along with good and reasonably priced glasses of Pinot Gris and Temparnillo. 2 of us had the lamb kabobs—tender, medium and enticingly seasoned. The apricot chutney, dates and and pomegranate on my chicken flatbread transformed simple, light slices into star performers, especially with the contrast of cardamom-dressed salad greens. Our server was charming, attentive, and knowledgeable. 5 stars all around!
