I chose this restaurant for Lunar New Year because i expected it to be higher experience. The servers were disorganized and the food was not in the average range of what would be found in chinatown. The duck was poor, the house noodle dish was bland as was the fried rice, etc...

Had a prix fixe menu $118 per person. It was bland and mostly flavourless. Service was iffy at first but improved as the meal progressed. Although their wine and cocktail list indicated that they had a number of top shelf items my wife wanted a Martini and they were out of both the Bombay Safire and the Tanqueray that were on the menu. Even though the wine list is very limited they were out of the wine that we ordered.

There were patrons is was disappointing We enjoyed the 2nd course of the Peking duck but the 1st course was disappointing. Not crispy. Broccoli side dish was excellent

The food in general was ok although the vegetables (pea shoots) were very tough and hard to chew. Food took quite a while to come out. The foie gras fried rice was amazing and so was the salt and pepper pork chop. The scallops were decent and the Peking duck was ok….the lettuce wrap was better than the actual skin itself (lots of the meat was attached to the skin which made it harder to eat) It was an overall pleasant experience. We have been to this restaurant many times over the years

We went for New Year’s Eve and we’re disappointed. The dim sum was not explained although we stresses that one of us dies not eat meat. While most if us dined in duck the hungry pescatarian had to wait a half hour for her dim sum to arrive. The Chinese broccoli portion was also relatively small. The duck was good but little meat.

Brought my family to try their special dim sum menus, the $55 one is a steal in light of what you get…and the $40 one is just as great. This meal is one of my favourite meals of all time anywhere. Top quality food, service, relaxing atmosphere with plenty of space between tables. They have an excellent XO sauce that goes very well with everything. I love this resto.
