   Food and service were superb. Noise level would have been ok if we weren’t at table directly under a speaker. Would definitely come again.

   We visited for my birthday lunch and was greeted promptly and with a great smile. Go to the table and the server was super sweet and helpful. We ordered 2 apps and drinks. After waiting a few minutes she came to tell me they didn't have the appetizer I ordered. So that was #1 issue with Lago. Then we got our salads and drinks. The mozzarella sticks were AMAZING , we then ordered our entrees. After another 5-6 minutes she came back to tell me they didn't have the sauce for the pasta I ordered. Like wth???? 2 out of 2 things I've ordered weren't available. So that out a damper on me experience with Lago. Drinks were great, dessert was great but 1st and 2nd course of MY birthday meal was not worth the trip down there.

   Picked a very busy time, and the manager comped us some treats at the end of the meal, so that helped. But the food was cold, and in one case burned beyond being edible. That dish should never have made it to our table if anyone was paying attention. The waiter was showing the strain of a busy day when we asked about the cold Italian Wedding Soup we sent back to be warmed (which had gone missing for 30 minutes and was returned after the main course was served). Avoid the crab cakes! I would recommend the pasta dishes. My wife and daughter were both very happy with them. I suspect my Italian Beef sandwich would have been good if it had come out warm. The drinks from the bar and our wine choice were outstanding. Service improved when someone stepped in to help. If you go and they look busy, look elsewhere! We had reservations and were seated on time, but it became obvious quickly they were overwhelmed. They did their best to make things right, but what was meant to be a pleasant celebration was a bit of a hot mess (the only thing at our table that was hot tonight!)

   Receptionist was rude I had a 5pm reservation and the main dining area of the Restaurant was empty. She tried to sit me and my guest at the worst table that was too small and in an awkward spot. I asked if we could sit an any other table. She said she had 7pm reservations for the booths. Wtf?.. really it's 5pm and no one is sitting in the dining room. I enjoyed my food but she left a very bad impression with me and based on that idk if I would return despite my lovely and pleasant experience with my server Katie 🫶🏾

    Fettuccine with chicken was very good. My daughter got buttered noodles and did not care for it. Overall experience was good.
