Every aspect of our meal at La Voile was superb! The service was perfect. The food outstanding - I highly recommend the. onion soup, the trout, the brie and the apple tart. Will return very soon!
superb and attentive service, add delicious food..a wonderful experience.
Great, safe atmosphere, with very helpful and welcoming staff. Food was excellent.
Trout was over cooked. Service took too long.
Salad dressing unappetizing.
Appetisers were great. Dover Sole was excellent. Mussels were mediocer. dessert was only fair Service was slow...slow...slow. Server was very pleasant but hard to find. It appears that the restaurant is under staffed at this time.
Excellent service and food. Once one very loud speaking client left it was more enjoyable. Some folks are just loud.
This place used to be very good but quality degraded a bit and the staff were not as experienced as before.
Exquisite service and cuisine, although the plump oysters were surprisingly at room temperature with no ice...
A local gem. Truly delicious French food. Two different fish dishes were, in particular, outstanding.
Food was very good. I liked that they had plexiglass between all the tables. None of the staff was wearing masks; I’m on the fence about that.
Wonderful food and service always!
Wonderful dinner and service. Great drinks and wine.
The mussels were the best I’ve had in years. We loved the option to do the wine flight. Service was excellent.
Very rude waiter/waitress the whole evening. Unpleasant dining experience. I have never left a bad review on a restaurant dining experience before.
Had a lovely time on an early post-pandemic Saturday night out at La Voile. Ordering off their prix fixe menu, the food was very good and the price seemed very reasonable.
Nice outdoor seating , great food and service.
They do it right at La Voile. It doesn't get any more authentic. The Soupe Poisson, quiche small plate and Beouf Bourguignon were exceptional. My favorite server, Alejandra, did a great job as always.
The food was surprisingly just ok, compared to our past visits. The service was excellent.
very nice ambiance
food is though just average, not so French
very nice, polite and considerate server
We have never been here before, but we will certainly be back! The food was fantastic, the service attentive but not pushy, and while it was chilly outside, we were welcomed inside to the little cozy space.
A lovely evening out. Food is very good and atmosphere cozy. Service is excellent
The food was very good and the service was friendly. We'll be back.
Loved our experience and will be coming back. The upstairs was nice and quiet which is exactly what we wanted. The food was just fine - my roasted chicken was a tad bit dry but we had such a good time we didn’t mind. Escargot was excellent and the wait staff were very thorough.
I miss France. So happy I got a mini vacation at La Voile. All my faves. A lot of outdoor seating. Some street traffic ambiance but fun to see the trolleys when you live farther out in the burbs. Food delicious as always and friendly service. Highly recommend!
Always a pleasure to dine here. Great food and ambiance.
Good food, good service, a little pricey and they charge for soda refills.
I would go back without any hesitation. It happened that we ordered a Wine they didn’t have anymore, they offered us another one much better even (more expensive) for the price of the one we initially chose. Go there, they are really friendly and food is excellent!
Wow, so much to say about La Voile, and it’s all good. Great, in fact. Better than great. This was the dining experience I haven’t seen in a very long time. In an era of celebrity chefs and celebrity bartenders, the emphasis in many American restaurants has shifted from pleasing the customer to making the restaurant a show, a place not unlike a theater where you go to see a performance. This has only gotten worse with Covid with so many restauranteurs relishing the 90 minute table limit that only reinforces their view that they only want your money and that we are there fthem and not the other way around. At La Voile, the dynamic is different. As soon as I walked in the door, I was made ti feel welcome. I wasn’t sized up, I didn’t get a glare to tell me I’m a burden as happens at so many restaurants where the host glares at you and forces you to speak first.
This restaurant is a gem. The food is always outstanding, the service is exceptionally kind, and the ambiance is very authentic French. We love it here and will keep going back for our nicer occasions.
Always a treat to eat here. Very welcoming owner/ manager. So happy to see more people coming. P
We found the food be bland and fair.
Not sure I would return.
Staff and service on point, incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and really cordial & friendly - they seem genuinely happy to be there!
Always love this place
Food was disappointing
Really great authentic French food and very good value
Food was delicious. It was well prepared and served promptly. With Covid, we chose to eat outdoors. Table was at safe distance from others and passersby. Sun shine brightly in our eyes — that was a negative.
Food was very good. My group may have preferred a different grouping of main course with sides than what was listed, however, the server accommodated us where it was possible.
Wonderful to be able to enjoy restaurants again, and it was a treat at La Voile! The manager was lovely and attentive. Our food was delicious, and the portions from the three-course menu were just right. We will be back!
The food is consistently good. Unfortunately, they were very short staffed, so the service wasn't its usual stellar style, but they were apologetic and did the best they could. I will always go back, as it's one of my favorite restaurants.
My delicious salmon had a super crispy sear on it and the tarragon spinach it was on was mouth watering. If you like a clean & tasty white wine, they have a St Veran at a reasonable bottle price. Loved it.
