Francis and Vangie both help to make our experience enjoyable.
Had a wonderful meal at La Vista on October 12th to celebrate my birthday and last night in Aruba. Food was excellent and our waitress, MayBel, was very attentive.
Francis is our favorite server. He always greets us warmly and remembers us from year to year.
Food and service were average drinks fair would go only for lunch
Every time we come to Aruba we visit this restaurant. The food is amazing!!!! Service is wonderful it never disappoints. Highly recommend crab salad and the sea bass. I give it 11 stars!!!!
Over-priced for a buffet. Entertainment was so-so. Did not meet expectations.
Food was good as we ordered from menu. Buffet looked ok but did not interest my wife and I.
The food was very good, but with some limited options. My Boyfriend and I enjoyed our meal, but would have liked to have more of a seafood option and maybe prime rib versus ham at the carving station. the build your own tacos was okay.
The salad table was very good with a lot of wonderful options, however; they seemed to run out quickly. The dinner show was very entertaining!
The server we had was not very good. We wanted to order off the menu rather than eat the buffet, and she pushed the buffet too much rather then providing us a menu.
When we were done, she brought us the check, but never asked us if we wanted to order desert. When we finally got a menu to order a desert, she said, I will have to charge you extra for desert since you didn't get the buffet, which was to be expected.
Food quality was average at best. The salad was small for the price that was paid.
Really good buffet restaurant. Excellent choices and quality. Very nice staff. Very family friendly. We loved it
Great service. Wonderful breakfast & Sunday Brunch. Attentive servers. Yocasta & Gracia were awesome!
Good food; great service. Like to sit inside, as too many birds like to join you outside!
One of our favorite brunch spots on Aruba.
The food was good. The penne bolgnesse was good. The shrimp carbonara was very tasty. Prices were high even for Aruba standards. Service was spotty at best. Nice but seemed like he had 50 tables to cover when it was fairly slow.
Delicious food, great service, quiet and inviting atmosphere with a gorgeous ocean view and sunset views...Woild definately come again. We did the international buffet...it had great food and a make your own pasts station. Overall, happy customers.
Sunday Brunch was so worth it!
Great International buffet - enjoyed the sushi and pasta station, among all others. Also, the ice cream station is a real treat for all.
My favorite breakfast, brunch and dinner restaurant! Super friendly staff.
Superb lobster tail buffet. Additionally, the sushi was a big hit with our family. Highly recommended.
We ate here for the carribean carnival night. The show was fun and restaurant was beautiful. We ate at the buffet so we could eat then watch the show. We would go agsin but would eat off the menu this time around. The view was beautiful. Service was friendly but slow.
My husband and our 5 year old son went to dinner there2 nights in a row. The food was amazing. The view was great. The next time we're in Aruba we will dine there again.
Augusto was great on a busy night with large groups still was able to make us feel special
Our meal was ok. The kitchen was very slow for a late lunch but our waiter made up for it.
For the past few years, our last day on the island starts with a wonderful breakfast at La Vista Restaurant. A great buffet with more than enough to choose from, which is especially nice if you have young children to feed.
An excellent value when feeding a family of six...something for everyone. The International Buffet was wonderful. Pizza for the kids and a various assortment of international dishes for the adults. Fed a family of six for under $200 with tip. Highly recommended.
Phenomenal Sunday brunch!!
Was not happy that a lot of the fish that they’ve always had in the past was no longer offered, such as crab claws. Was very pricey per person for what was offered. Many chafing dishes were not filled and had to wait in longer lines for pasta and ice cream as seemed like less workers .
Not at all what we expected from the restaurant description and the reviews. More like the type of buffet you’d find on a cruise shop, not a place to have a nice dinner out. We had a lovely server, but I would not go back .
Good food, good value, good service, but the aggressive birds outside are most annoying and frankly give an unsanitary experience.
The surroundings were excellent, but sitting outside is not good unless you like birds flying around and annoying as you eat. One person MUST sit at the table and "shoo" the birds away or they will land and eat whatever is there!
very good quality food and great service.
Waitress forgot about us for a while once bigger tables came in
Staff very accommodating. Food prepared as you waited for some. A large array of food for all diets. Pleasant atmosphere.
Festival show and buffet
Great service, loved eating outside...no bugs flying around and WOW the Buffet had quite an assortment as well as the menu...both very gooood!
Buffet was overpriced, but omelettes were fantastic!
Very disappointed in this restaurant. We didn't sit outside because it was only buffet there. We wanted to eat from the menu which we found was very limited. There are so many excellent restaurants in Aruba that we wouldn't go to La Vista again.
Excellent! We go there every time we visit Aruba. Great food, superb service.
Great buffet! Sushi, pasta bar (custom made pasta dishes), pizza, seafood (crab craws, shlimp, mussels, etc.), carving station, and then all the nightly specials in a round serving station. 4 Star food. Very friendly. Iced tea was good. Didn’t get drink drinks. Sunset was gorgeous. Outdoor seating was Nice!
We came here the first night of our vacation since we’re staying at the Marriott and it seemed convenient. It was Thursday night which is apparently a special buffet night. We told them we would like to order off the menu and the hostess said that’s fine and lead us to our seats. We noticed there was seating available outside and asked if we could sit there, she said okay and we sat outside with the menus. A few minutes later our server came over and told us we can’t order the menu outside, and they outside is buffet only. We explained that we told the hostess we wanted to order off the menu and she sat us out here. The server was obviously irriatated and mumbled something that we didn’t catch. It was awkward so we offered to leave so that it wouldn’t cause an inconvenience. She seemed annoyed but said that it was fine and we could order off the menu outside. The rest of the dinner was subpar service, if you want to call it that. Only came by to take orders or drop off items. She never even smiled until we were walking out and she said bye. We spent more money on entrees than we would have on the buffet so not sure why we were treated so negatively. Definitely a bummer and will not be back even though we’re staying at the Marriott for 2 weeks.
