La Vista - Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino
Good, but not distinguished food. Good service. Convenient. Menu would benefit from more variety.
La vista has an attractive setting on the Marriott grounds, so we decided to give them a try. We reviewed the menu but were not enthralled. The server seemed to assume we would want the buffet. I looked at the buffet offerings, saw grouper and decided it was okay for me. My wife settled on the pasta bolognese because she could not justify paying the price for a buffet. We were both disappointed. My wife’s bolognese, was priced at over $30, and was terrible. We have never paid that much for bolognese anywhere, especially for bolognese with little to no beef in the sauce. My grouper from the buffet was swimming or drowning in some kind of sauce. Grouper is one of our favorite meals, but this one was awful. We were puzzled by the number of positive reviews. We can only surmise there are a lot of guests who are happy with large volumes of food rather than well prepared meals. For those, I say go at it. For others who want quality, I say go elsewhere.
We had the buffet and there was a very good selection of various types of food - make your own pasta, sushi, salad options, main cousrse meals, good desserts, soup, fruit, etc. The service was excellent and the restaurant was nicely decorated. Would definitely return and would recommend this restaurant.
Fish selection is not as wide as Aquarius.
We’ve had dinner at La Vista numerous times when visiting Aruba. The service is always excellent and the staff is very friendly. The food is always great with a very nice selection at the buffet.
Average food served in a beautiful, outdoor setting. Good if you are just arriving at the resort, tired from the travel, and are not ready to venture out.
Buffet was average. We had to sit inside because of the birds. You did to fix this problem!
The atmosphere was amazing. We were not rushed, enjoyed our beach table, and our server, Oscar was beyond amazing. Loved it so much we made another reservation before leaving!
Went to La Vista at the Marriott Hotel in Aruba last night for dinner. Waiter was wonderful, attentive, and on the ball. The food was great and the portions very generous. Sat outside watching the sunset, pure joy!!
One of the best breakfast buffets anywhere!
The buffet is probably the best value on the menu. Very nice selection of food. The Filet was excellent as was the Pork Loin with a mushroom gravy. The Grouper was over cooked but I suppose that happens with fish sitting in a hot plate.
La Vista is always a treat whenever we visit Aruba. The staff there was fantastic, just really make it enjoyable. Whether its breakfast, Lunch or Dinner its always very good with a wide selection. Don't miss lobster night and the Sunday brunch is a treat!
Our family tradition is to have Thanksgiving dinner here every year. And every year, it's better than the year before. Thank you La Vista
Great spot for a dinner with the family. The buffet provides everyone with the choice they would like the most. The service is very good and the food has always been very good as well. Its not inexpensive, but I think worth the price with all the variety you have to choose from.
Amazing view and great food. The manager Josephine is one of the nicest people my wife and I met on our trip to Aruba.
We went for the Saturday evening lobster tail buffet. One in our party had a seafood allergy and not ordering the buffet was not an option. The prime rib was his option on the buffet and it may have been good if hot bit it was somewhat cold. The overall feeling from our diners was that the food was mediocre and not worth the $69 per person price tag. We would not rush back nor recommend.
Very relaxing and romantic
Lobster night was 65.pp but they were .25 tails only serve 2 at a time and only allowed 2 orders theyundercooked not worth the price of 130.00 plus tax and tip for 2 adults
The buffet and the menu provided a good variety of choices including gluten free. The food was good , and service was always outstanding.
All you can eat buffet featuring lobster tails, prime rib, made-to-order pasta--what could be better.
Francis and Vangie both help to make our experience enjoyable.
Had a wonderful meal at La Vista on October 12th to celebrate my birthday and last night in Aruba. Food was excellent and our waitress, MayBel, was very attentive.
Francis is our favorite server. He always greets us warmly and remembers us from year to year.
Food and service were average drinks fair would go only for lunch
Every time we come to Aruba we visit this restaurant. The food is amazing!!!! Service is wonderful it never disappoints. Highly recommend crab salad and the sea bass. I give it 11 stars!!!!
Over-priced for a buffet. Entertainment was so-so. Did not meet expectations.
Food was good as we ordered from menu. Buffet looked ok but did not interest my wife and I.
The food was very good, but with some limited options. My Boyfriend and I enjoyed our meal, but would have liked to have more of a seafood option and maybe prime rib versus ham at the carving station. the build your own tacos was okay.
The salad table was very good with a lot of wonderful options, however; they seemed to run out quickly. The dinner show was very entertaining!
The server we had was not very good. We wanted to order off the menu rather than eat the buffet, and she pushed the buffet too much rather then providing us a menu.
When we were done, she brought us the check, but never asked us if we wanted to order desert. When we finally got a menu to order a desert, she said, I will have to charge you extra for desert since you didn't get the buffet, which was to be expected.
Food quality was average at best. The salad was small for the price that was paid.
Really good buffet restaurant. Excellent choices and quality. Very nice staff. Very family friendly. We loved it
Great service. Wonderful breakfast & Sunday Brunch. Attentive servers. Yocasta & Gracia were awesome!
Good food; great service. Like to sit inside, as too many birds like to join you outside!
One of our favorite brunch spots on Aruba.
The food was good. The penne bolgnesse was good. The shrimp carbonara was very tasty. Prices were high even for Aruba standards. Service was spotty at best. Nice but seemed like he had 50 tables to cover when it was fairly slow.
Delicious food, great service, quiet and inviting atmosphere with a gorgeous ocean view and sunset views...Woild definately come again. We did the international buffet...it had great food and a make your own pasts station. Overall, happy customers.
Sunday Brunch was so worth it!
Great International buffet - enjoyed the sushi and pasta station, among all others. Also, the ice cream station is a real treat for all.
My favorite breakfast, brunch and dinner restaurant! Super friendly staff.
Superb lobster tail buffet. Additionally, the sushi was a big hit with our family. Highly recommended.
