Great pre-game meal. Good drinks. Good appetizers. Great entrees. Large portions so no dessert.
Thank you so much for the feedback. On your next visit, please save room for our homemade desserts. They will not disappoint. Side note - this may need to be your pre-game ritual as it was followed by the Raven's first W of the season...
Daniel was absolutely brilliant! We had a two year old and he brought things for my grandson to keep him occupied, and generally provided great service. Outstanding
Thank you so much for sharing. Dining with a little one can be challenging and we do our best to accommodate so you can have an enjoyable dining experience. Your grandson was also an angel - so well behaved. We hope you see you again soon.
Wonderful food. Very delicious. I highly recommend eating there.
Very good food and excellent service! Would recommend it wholeheartedly!
Thank you so much for the recommendation. We look forward to seeing you soon.
We were celebrating our engagement! La Tavola has always been one of our favorite spots in Little Italy. The food is always fresh, service is always attentive, and the atmosphere is amazing! Best part is they make their own pasta and sauces daily, which adds to the quality of food. I highly recommend their pasta dish that has mussels, clams, scallops and shrimp in a “spicy” sauce with linguine pasta.
Congratulations on your engagement! We are so grateful for celebrating with us. We look forward to seeing you again soon. BTW, the Linguini alla Scolio is my favorite past dish on the menu too.
One of the best in Little Italy, frequent here about once a month and it's always worth the trip out.
Thank you for sharing. We look forward to your next visit.
If you’re looking for great Italian fare, this is the place. The food was delicious! It’s also family friendly but would be just as nice for any other occasion.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We hope to see you again soon.
Overall had a good experience. The food was very good and fresh. However, I just felt that the portion size was very small for the price.
Imaginative combinations using only local and fresh. Absolutely perfect!
Visiting our son and helping him move apartments. Have never tried this restaurant but read great reviews so was looking forward to it. We were seated as soon as we arrived and waiter greeted us soon after. We had an appetizer, salad and some beer and wine, then entrees ( rockfish special, veal and chicken parm) then desert (profiteroles and peach tart). Our waiter was great, very attentive and friendly. The decor is nice, not too fancy, comfortable. As for the food, it was very good but I didn’t feel it was great or fantastic like the reviews I read. Maybe it was an off night, not sure. I would go back again.
The linguini with shellfish was excellent and so full of seafood my husband had trouble eating it all. I had the squid ink pasta with crab and it was also excellent. My daughter had the Tallegio pasta (like alfredo) and loved it. The bruschetta was so good and I loved the eggplant parm app. The desserts were good but not amazing. Service was very good.
All the food was excellent. The very tasty bruscetta appetizer special was a creative concoction of 4 pieces of bread - each with a different topping - mushrooms & fontina cheese, prosciutto & figs, crabmeat & vegetables and tomato & mozzarella. The Spaghetti Neri al Granchio had delicious homemade squid ink pasta and contained many pieces of lump crabmeat. The Vitello alla Norcina with the kalamata olives was also delicious. We finished our meal by sharing a generous serving of homemade lemon sorbetto and a glass of homemade limoncello. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
Dinner was amazing. The daily special Rock Fish in parchment paper was delicious, moist and cooked perfectly. Our table enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and good company. The waitress was attentive. Overall great dinner.
Delicious pasta! Great ambiance! We cant wait to visit again
La Tavola lived up to its reputation. Everything was fabulous. A very relaxed, quiet, non-hurried dinner. The food was amazing!
We found a ‘new’ Little Italy gem.
Regarding food, there’s good, great, and then there’s WOW. Nuff said.
The food was delicious! We had the famous spaghetti neri and the excellent fish in parchment paper. The beef carpaccio with arugula was so good!. The only criticism would be the bruschetta - the topping was excellent, but the bread was very soggy.
Memorable experience, outstanding food and excellent service, and with reasonable pricing
The food was delicious. Our waitress was attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice Italian meal.
This place was excellent!! Great food, great service, great location. A must try.
Googled “best Italian in Baltimore” La Tavola came up and did not disappoint. Great service, amazing, fresh food and tons of GF options for my daughter!! Many items naturally GF, but kitchen would accommodate any special diet requests! Second time at La Tavola, we will be back again next time in town!!
Terrible waiter waited, 15 mins for service , he forgot everything, constantly. We asked for bread, had to wait because he kept forgetting. Food was not good, tasted old.
Not a good experience
A bit dated, but that makes its charm. Food was authentic and delicious. A little gem.
Our server Maki was so knowledgeable and helpful. I have celiacs and the chef and server made sure my food would be safe to eat. Tons of gluten free options and my husband loved his food too! Definitely will be dining here again!
We love going to la Tavola. The chef is super experienced with making authentic Italian food and always changes the specials. The waiter that’s always there even makes us our favorite drink, the w&w, even though it’s not on the menu anymore! Highly recommend!
Thank you so much for you kind words. Always a pleasure having you. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
What a great find. Home made pasta, fresh seafood and friendly helpful wait staff. Loved this restaurant. It’s Northern Italian at its best. Will definitely be back.
Thank you for dining with us. So glad you enjoyed your experience.
We had a delicious meal (as always) served by a very patient, thorough waiter! Excellent all the way around!
We are blessed with an amazing staff. Thank you so much for joining us.
Food was excellent and staff were outstanding. Tremendous entrees and desserts
Thank you so much. We hope to see you soon.
Linguine with truffles was spectacular! I would definitely recommend.
La Tavola had amazing fresh made pasta! I highly recommend the lasagna.
We are strangers to Baltimore, so we relied on Open Table to guide us to a good place to eat. La Tavola was a true find--it's worth visiting Baltimore just to dine there. The pasta and dessert (tiramisu to die for) were home-made, everything was fresh, and Dee was an attentive but not intrusive server. (She recommended the tiramisu, for which my companion is deeply grateful.) I loved my ravioli, and my companion loved his lasagne. Although each is an ordinary menu item at Italian restaurants, both were prepared at La Tavola with a sophisticated touch. Absolutely scrumptious. You can't go wrong at a restaurant this good.
We had the housemade lasagna and it was divine.
I wish I could be more positive, but the food was lackluster. We visited for brunch on a Sunday which was a good time to be there but were disappointed with the food.
Restaurant was great! Had a great meal and great service. Was not very busy when we went since we went before the dinner rush. Will definitely return for another meal.
Celebration dinner for our wedding
Service was fantastic and the meal was perfect. My son absolutely loved the spaghetti neri. Calamari was great. Dessert was so good! Everything was fresh! I’ll be back!
This is an excellent place to eat. The food is amazing.
Was celebrating my birthday. We ate outside. Food was delicious (nice specials ) but was disappointed that my birthday was not acknowledged with a candle or anything else.
Nothing more to say with the 5 stars. Dan was our server. Great guy and very personable.
