   I’ve been here many times and have always enjoyed it but I think the food has actually gotten even better. The service is excellent, attentive without being intrusive. For us this is a special occasion restaurant because excellent food doesn’t come cheaply.

   Always excellent food. The duck, the fettuccine lobster was delicious. The escargot also. Dessert was Baked Alaska wow. Delicious. Great food presentation. The service was very good. Fine dining at its best!!!

   I’ve been to this restaurant a number of times. Virginia at the front is a marvelous hostess. The staff is superiorly trained. I would love to wax eloquent about a number of dishes however, I almost always default to the Dover sole which is fabulous. I highly recommend asking for a soufflé for dessert and while the chocolate is fabulous, the pistachio is sublime.

   The hostess brought us to the porch area and seated us at a small 1/2 table. Juan, our serve, who has waited on us in the past, brought us into the main dining room. We were the only guests in that room for the evening. His personal service and coworker was excellent. The daily salad with strawberries along with the Branzino, cooked the way they prepare Dover Sole was terrific. The Tartare with caviar and the twice cooked duck was perfect. To top off the dinner, we had the Grand Marinier soufflé. In all, a perfect night.

    We like this restaurant. Was our exciting 2nd visit. 5 mistakes tonight. A message for the manager: 1. When we informed the duck was over cooked, and didn't want it packaged to-go, we were still charged. The recompense was a cup of tea and a dessert. If your going to insist on charging for returned entrees, be sure the client doesn't want the dish if you insist on charging. 2. Server questioned my wife's "honesty"..really? 3. Server rolled his eyes at my daughter after we requested a verbal of the deserts and we didn't order one (even though we had already ordered a souffle). 4. The "manager" never showed up to the table to discuss the $45 duck. We probably won't be back even though we love the ambiance, food and we are restaurant operations people and foodies.
