We have dined at La Morra many times and love it. It is great to be able to experience seasonal cuisine that always tastes fresh and is a bit different from other Italian restaurants. The waitstaff is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about food preparation and wine choices. We truly appreciate consistency in quality food and service.

This is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food is always delicious, taking advantage of seasonal and local ingredients. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. Stephanie, the manager, is a gem. She always comes to greet us and makes sure we've tried new items. We miss her on her rare nights off. If you haven't tried LaMorra for great italian food, you are missing a real treat. Try the polenta, salads, pasta, fish or steak. You won't be disappointed.

Fabulous find. We were in town for short weekend and saw reviews of the restaurant and made reservations. Their wine list is fantastic, the dinner special was amazing! Great find and will tell friends going to Boston to make sure to reserve a table!

Another one bites the dust. A hair on the sage leaves. Served soup without any soup spoons. After years of being amazing, they've lost their fastball.

Had high expectations based on reviews, however Cichetti (small plate) app of polpetti (meatballs) were tasty, but very dry. Selected meats (prosciutto and capocollo) were also dry and stringy, plus the presentation left much to be desired. Pasta dishes were tasty and plentiful; smaller portion is plenty for one person. However $24-$29 for larger portion of pasta with chicken sausage or rock shrimp is far too expensive.

La Morra is a favorite place for us, for special family occasions and for a really nice dinner for just the two of us. The food and wine have never disappointed us. Service has always been friendly, unobtrusive, and knowledgeable. It's not a place we'd go for a quick bite. We went for an early supper the other night, and we're among their only guests at that hour. In most ways, La Morra was just as we expected, except that on this evening we felt rushed, as though they needed us to leave by a certain hour. No one was rude. They just seemed eager to clear. My guess is that it wasn't intentional, but it did register to us both that wait service was a bit overly eager to clear us. The food and wine were delicious and we'd certainly go back.

La Morra was exceptional. We went for a late dinner during our visit to Boston and the ambiance and food were both great. I don't know how busy and/or loud the restaurant gets during its peak hours (we went late on a Monday night), but when we dined there it was incredibly low key. The food was fantastic and wasn't incredibly overpriced, especially for the quality and care put into each dish. I'd highly recommend La Morra to anyone looking for a nice Italian restaurant in Boston.

While the food was very good, the service and seating detracted from the meal. Parking is challenging as well. Good spot if you live in the neighborhood but not worth the drive as there are many comparable options .
