Amazing food! Fast and delicious.
Our server was wonderful and the food was very good. We are in the heat of the summer so we ate inside and it was a bit loud but we still enjoyed it. We had to leave our stroller outside which was a bit of an inconvenience as the tables were somewhat crammed in the dining area. Overall, a great experience.
Great food and service! Very attentive and we got our food quickly!
Great service and food!
We are on spring break. We loved the prompt courteous service. The food was outstanding and the margarita was delightful. Highly recommend this place.
Delicious as always. Great queso and chicken fajitas
Service was decent, food was OK. Charged me $0.95 for black beans instead of refried, and $2.25 for a side of sour cream. A tub of sour cream does not cost that much. I will never go back to this restaurant.
Restaurant was closed.
Reservation was confirmed when restaurant was not even open. So disappointing. Waste of time.
The food needed a bit more flavor.
Been going there for 30+ years and still an awesome place to enjoy a dinner with family and friends at a big table.
Place was closed! We got there with two small kids and an Open Table reservation to be told it was closed
Slow service, carnitas was fatty, chicken enchiladas had simply a weird taste. Chips seemed stale.
We made reservations two days in advance. We walked all the way to the restaurant from our hotel and the restaurant looked as if it has been closed for months. This restaurant should not be allowing reservations. We missed having dinner at another restaurant that was open and to say that we were put out and disappointed is an understatement. -Butt
Restaurant was technically not open again yet. But the app let me book the dinner. I don't any of the staff there where even aware that the system was allowing.
However my friends and I were still able to get some yummy food from their simplified menu and the parking lot had a cool setup. I'll be back to try their enchiladas someday.
Food was okay. Not something to brag about. Service was good, drinks were very good.
Great place - liked the food and the drinks!
Great ambiance, delicious food and excellent service makes for a fun visit to this historic restaurant I’ve frequented for decades. Highly recommend pomegranate margarita.
Every time i come here it doesn't disappoint. Great food, margaritas and atmosphere.
We were told to eat here while in san antonio and we were not disappointed! Delicious food, fast and friendly service. We will go back next time we are in town!
Great, tourist-y restaurant. Too expensive but still fun to visit.
We sat outside and were lucky to have live music on the stage in the square. Food and drinks were great, wonderful service.
i Was attending a conference and needed a quiet place to take a group of ten. The Riverwalk restaurants are alway so noisy and crowded, this location provide both great food and service.
Food was good but service was a bit slow (even though the place was pretty empty).
New Year’s Eve
It was just “ ok”
Limited menu for traditional Mexican .
Food was fine
But no fireworks , bells or whistles.
Can't share good reviews. Walked in 8.15 pm and restaurant was about to close. Rushed us with drinks and menu. Food was under average, not good seasoned and tastes like it was in a pot for days. Restaurant was dirty. No recommendation.
The oysters were horrible. Shrimps were ok. The mexican food and the meat were also ok. The frozen margarita cocktail was too sweet. It is a cheap restaurant, do not expect much more.
La Margarita was good! Nice outdoor seating - and the weather was pleasant. Good cheese enchiladas and margaritas.
It was wonderful to arrive on time and our table was ready for our special occasion! Prime area provided! No rush! Great service with good food! Always a winner here!
Good food great service great value
Food was good. Busy and noisy but to be expected.
Overall the food, service, and atmosphere was great. First time in San Antonio and the experience was one of a kind. I also appreciate that quality of food and service for reasonable prices. A family could afford to go two nights in a row if they should choose to do so.
I had a friend in from out of state. Thought this restaurant in the market would give her a great San Antonio experience. The restaurant and surrounding market were very crowded due to a band playing and being filmed next to the restaurant. Good food selection, good waiter.
The ambiance was great, server was okay, but the food was not so good especially for how much we spent. My friends and I will probably never go back here.
It was my dad's Birthday and the food and drinks were on point. We couldn't have asked for a better timem
where are my points?
We haven’t been there in years, and it was great! We’ll definitely return soon!
We used to go here many years ago and were hoping for the same vibrant but relaxed environment with good Tex Mex. Instead, at 11 am on a Sunday it was surrounded by very loud music (next to the outdoor restaurant space), poor service and awful food. The corn tortillas did not look or taste anything like corn tortillas. Oysters were previously frozen. The veggie fajita plate was full of grease. Chips were stale. Big crowd so it must appeal to many but not to our family of 5.
